The principal sources of information for students at Oxford are:

  • your college, for undergraduate tutorial teaching, accommodation and welfare issues
  • your faculty, for lectures, graduate supervision, seminars and classes, lecture lists and course handbooks
  • the Student Information and Advisory Service based in the Exam Schools on the High Street for general advice and support
  • the Proctors' Office, which is the central source of information on University (as opposed to college or faculty) administration
  • the Student Union, for information, advice and support from your peers.
There is also a wealth of information available online. The pages in this section provide a brief guide to get you started.
