AHRC Block Grant Partnership (BGP) Scheme
AHRC funding for graduate students is available through two routes: Block Grant Partnerships with universities, and a new annual Studentship Competition for candidates at universities not participating in the Block Grant Partnership (BGP) Scheme.
AHRC BGP Studentships 2010 at the University of Oxford
The University of Oxford has secured 81 doctoral studentships and 57 Master’s studentships starting in October 2010 under the new AHRC Block Grant Partnership scheme. The studentships are available in 19 of the subject areas funded by the AHRC.

Eligibility for AHRC BGP Studentships
To be eligible to apply for an award you must meet certain academic criteria and be ordinarily resident in the UK or in another European Union country. You must check that you meet the eligibility criteria as set out in the Notes of Guidance.
Deadline: 22 January 2010, except Philosophy, where the deadline is 8 January 2010
Note: some postgraduate programmes at the University of Oxford have more than one deadline. If you wish to be considered for an AHRC BGP studentship, you must apply by the January deadline.
