Each year, Oxford welcomes thousands of students to study for one of the many degrees in humanities subjects offered by the University. We offer around 30 undergraduate degrees involving humanities subjects, and around 80 taught master’s degrees. In addition each of the nine humanities faculties and the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art also offers one or more doctoral degrees.
Once in Oxford, students benefit from the expertise of some of the best scholars in their fields, from working alongside talented and able fellow students, from the outstanding learning environment Oxford provides, from the outstanding library and museum resources, and from the close community of college life.
Applications for undergraduate and graduate study are handled differently – the pages here provide a brief guide to sources of information on how to apply to study at Oxford and how to fund your stay.
