Professor Philip Ross Bullock

The Director of TORCH leads the development of TORCH’s strategy and policy for promoting inter- and multi- disciplinary research at Oxford, working closely with the Associate Head (Research) and the Head of Division. The Director is responsible for developing a programme of academic and public engagement activities associated with TORCH; facilitating communication about research in humanities across the collegiate university; providing academic leadership for researchers associated with the Centre; promoting a vibrant intellectual environment for scholars visiting Oxford; as well as developing  links with appropriate national and international bodies.
