Watch John Tasioulas and Josh Ober discuss AI white paper

Watch Professors John Tasioulas and Josh Ober discuss their white paper on AI Ethics with Aristotle.

The Lyceum Conference took place in Athens on 20 June 2024 and was hosted by the Institute for Ethics and AI, in partnership with Stanford University, the World Human Forum and Demokritos, Greece's National Centre for Scientific Research.

The conference featured discussions from leading academics and practitioners in AI ethics, in which they explored the important issue of the ethical regulation of AI.

Here, Professors John Tasioulas and Josiah Ober discuss their white paper, in which they argue that the approach to ethics developed by the 4th Century BC Greek philosopher, Aristotle, offers the most compelling framework for addressing the challenges and opportunities of Artificial Intelligence today.
