Oxford Humanities is regarded as a leader in the field of Knowledge Exchange and innovation. Even a cursory glance at our faculties' websites reveals how much our researchers collaborate with a broad range of external organisations and the wider public.

We are now seeking an Academic Champion for Knowledge Exchange, Impact and Innovation to further develop this important and growing area of activity.

This new role will provide academic leadership within these three interlocking areas and represent Humanities’ perspectives in the relevant University-level committees, especially around the new national KE Concordat and Framework.

They will lead a discussion across the Humanities Division on how innovation can be fostered within humanities disciplines; will lead on the developing strategy for business engagement and creative partnerships of all kinds; and work to foster further engagement with the regional and local enterprise initiatives taking place across and beyond the University, for instance in the cultural, heritage, and creative industries.

Eligible applicants can learn more about the role and how to apply here:

The deadline is midday on Monday 19 April.

While the role is only open to internal applicants, we will share the output from the activities driven by the Academic Champion on our website and our Twitter account (@oxhumanities). So watch this space!
